The City of Augusta will host two Covid-19 vaccination clinics next week in an effort to increase the number of people vaccinated in the local area.

  • Richmond County Covid-19 Vaccine Clinic from 1pm to 3pm, Wednesday, August 11th, in the Linda W. Beazley Community Room, the Augusta Municipal Building.
  • Augusta Transit will also host a Richmond County Health Department Mobile Covid-19 Vaccination Clinic on Thursday, August 12th, at the Broad Street Transfer Center, located at 1546 Broad St. The clinic will be open from 6am to 10am and 3pm to 6pm.

At both events, the Moderna vaccine will be available for individuals 18 years old and older and the Pfizer vaccine for individuals 12 years old and older. Second dose shots of Moderna and Pfizer vaccines will also be available to those who bring vaccination cards. No appointment needed, and a nurse will be available to answer questions about Covid-19 vaccines.
