TEEN Life Maze

From the City of Aiken Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism press release– Teen Life Maze is an interactive risk reduction experience for middle school, high school and college-aged students. The Teen Life Maze will take participants through a series of life scenarios and show them what life could be like if they made the wrong decisions. Scenarios include scenes from a courtroom, a funeral home and an STD clinic. Teen pregnancy prevention, alcohol and drug abuse and lessons on healthy relationships will be some of the topics presented.

FREE. Food, prizes, music and video game truck.

In its 97th year, the popular Georgia Carolina State Fair brings carnival rides in a safe environment to downtown Augusta. With a number of thrill rides and family carnival games, a beauty/talent contest and a livestock competition, carnival goers often visit the fair multiple times during its stay in the Garden City. There are the usual carnival gems like deep-fried Oreos and powder-sugared funnel cakes, too!
