Richmond County Meal Distribution

To help the community take the virus outbreak advisory seriously, Richmond County schools are providing meals while schools are closed, hoping it aids to relieve parents from worrying about food for their kids. Meals are available for children ages 2 – 18 and children must be present to receive distributed meals. If you need meals to be delivered to your home, you can visit the website to find a list of organizations to contact at The RCSS Drive-Through Meal Programs are offered 11 am – 1 pm, Monday through Friday. Meal sites are listed on the website.

Richmond County is seeking assistance from community partners and churches to help with the deliveries. Please contact Dr. Dana Bing, 706.829.9615, to find out how to help. There are also needs for:

  • Clean, large boxes to transport meals
  • Small bags or boxes for individual meal distribution

Columbia County Meal Distribution

Starting Monday, March 23, there will be grab-and-go breakfasts and lunches available for Columbia County school students. The meals will be available Monday through Friday, from 11 am to 1 pm. All students in need will receive a packaged lunch along with a breakfast for the following day. Curbside pickup is available at pick-up locations: Grovetown Elementary, Parkway Elementary, North Harlem Elementary, South Columbia Elementary and Lakeside High schools. Aiken Schools Meal Distribution

Meals for Aiken County students will be distributed by school buses on their regular routes. The grab-and-go meals are available to any student who desires one and include a breakfast and a lunch. Delivery routes start at 11 am and should be completed by 12:30 pm. If a student is missed or there are delays of more than 30 minutes, parents are advised to contact the District Transportation Department at 803.593.7201 so drivers can be contacted.

Food is also available for pickup at any school campuses, daily, 11:30 am to 1 pm.
