On Monday, June 15 the Augusta-Richmond County Public Library System (ARCPLS) will be holding its first-ever Virtual Summer Reading Kickoff Event online from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Our programs can be viewed via the Augusta Library Facebook and the Augusta Library YouTube channel. Summer Reading is open to all ages, and this year’s fairy tale theme is “Imagine Your Story”. We will have many programs and activities throughout the day for the entire family!

Registration for summer reading will be online at arcpls.beanstack.org . Online registration will be open by Monday, June 15. If you don’t have computer access, call your local ARCPLS branch and our staff will help you get signed up. Reading requirements vary depending on the age of the participants. All participants must complete and submit their online reading logs between Monday, June 15, and Friday, July 31. Prizes are offered for those who finish their summer reading logs while supplies last. This is a great opportunity for all walks of life to participate in reading and fun during the summertime. For more information contact Carrie Koerber at 706-821-2631 or koerberc@arcpls.org .
