Hey Parents and Kids!! It’s FRIDAY, and you’ve made it through yet another week of the new norm at home. Let’s celebrate! Dance, sing a song, go marching around shouting “Yay! We totally got THIS!”. And then grab your blender and make a tasty strawberry milkshake to drink as you take another victory lap together!

Strawberry Milk Shake
The banana is used for creaminess, not flavor. I like my strawberry shakes to taste of strawberry and nothing else. However to decrease a touch on added fat and sugar the use of ½ frozen banana is just perfect.
½ pound strawberries slightly frozen
1 teaspoon vanilla
¾ cup 2% milk
½ banana frozen
1 ½ cup all-natural vanilla ice cream
Place ingredients in a blend and process till smooth!
Enjoy with one chocolate cookie or a side of strawberries.
