As we inch closer to mid-May when graduations would have taken place, unique ways to celebrate seniors are popping up across town. Augusta Family has joined this effort to showcase local high school seniors through the senior listings of more than 30 different local schools and special graduation ads in our May/June issue. The issue will hit stands the week of May 25th.

Local radio station 88.3 WAFJ is sending out a 2020 Senior Salute on their website to highlight this major milestone in the lives of these students. Students can upload a photo to their website and be included in the salute. See website for details about this fun and digital way to support your senior. https://www.wafj.com/contests/2020-senior-salute/.

Communigraphics has been instrumental in creating senior yard signs decorating the curbs of many houses. “We had employees suggest ‘senior signs,’ and … so we set up an online store, for doing first, just … North Augusta seniors, just to show appreciation for them, and it kind of exploded into probably 20 different schools, and different sports, and we’re probably up towards 1,000 signs so far,” he said. Signs have included band, swimming, sport and senior recognitions.
