If your child wants to play sports at school this year, he/she will need a physical to participate. There are a few places around town, in addition to your family practitioner or pediatrician, where your child’s health can be assessed, and you can be provided a release form for your school’s athletic department. Doctor’s Walk-In Clinic
Located on Central Avenue, Doctor’s Clinic welcomes walk-ins and is set up for fast and effective medical services, providing minimal wait time. Open Monday – Saturday. Accepts health insurance.
Doctor’s Hospital sports medicine services include pre-season physicals, sports rehabilitation, orthopedics, sports physical therapy, sports-specific training, injury prevention, nutrition and more. It is located at 3651 Wheeler Road.
Augusta University Health provides services to many local high schools. AU’s certified athletic trainers are a vital component to the establishment’s programs, helping to meet the individual needs of recreational, scholastic and collegiate athletes in the Augusta River Region.

Sports physicals are provided at a nominal fee, without an appointment. Bring your school’s form or download the state’s Pre-participation Evaluation Form and fill out appropriate information before scheduling your appointment.
CVS- Minute Clinic
See MinuteClinic hours for information regarding walk-ins. Schedule a visit online until 6:30pm most weeknights. Accepts some insurances and coverage varies by location and service.
