Mommy Makeovers are back and here to stay!

We had a fantastic response to our spring call for local moms who wanted a pampering makeover. We received almost 50 applications from deserving moms, but only had room to feature three.

The letters and stories we received from our call for moms truly touched our hearts here at Augusta Family Magazine. We read about women who were devoted to their families, but were tired & overwhelmed with little “me” time.

When we shared our stack of Mommy Makeover applicants with Liz Sass, Dillard’s store manager, she agreed with us that many more moms deserved makeovers.

We’re pleased to announce that each issue of Augusta Family Magazine will feature a Mommy Makeover in which one lucky mom will be made over from head to toe. The makeovers will begin with hair consultation, cut & color (if necessary) at the Dillard’s hair salon. Next comes a makeup consultation & application at one of Dillard’s makeup counters. The final part of the transformation will be fashion consultation & fitting with Dealynn Fryer to get the mom ready for her photo shoot.
