How to start homeschooling?

I have a 4 yo son who would start pre-K this year but I would like to home school him.  I am a stay at home mom and have the time and energy .  I would appreciate any information that would help me get the ball rolling.

Homeschooling my children is one of the best decisions I ever made.  The first thing you will want to do is call your County Board of Education office to get needed paper work from them.  Other things you could do is join a homeschool group.  The choices for curriculum is endless!!.  Good luck and if you need any help or support email me.

Ver- There is wonderful info out there on homeschooling and locally we have some great resources. I do want to caution you about the K12 program. Much has been written about the philosophy behind this education, so ask lots of questions and do your homework.  I would put their program at the very bottom of my list personally.

You won't regret the decision to homeschool! I promise! :)
