Karate and martial arts classes are being held at Garrett Gymnasium on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:30-7:40. Garrett Gym is located at 1110 Eisenhower Drive right bext to Garrett Elementary.  Eisenhower Drive starts near the entrance of the Augusta National Golf Course (Masters golf).

Classes are for ages 8 and up and are $30 per month with no contracts and no testing fees.

Catch the Reading Bug Summer Vacation Reading Program. Begins May 23 and runs through July 25.

This exhibit encourages kids to stay active and healthy. Children are engaged in circus fun as they get moving and learn about exercise, the food pyramid, healthy snacking and self image. They will stretch like an acrobat, make their way through a kid-size obstacle course and practice juggling healthy fruits and vegetables. All this while learning how to tame lions of laziness, perform feats of strength and wellness and discover the many ways to stay active and eat healthfully.

The Child Advocacy Center, a program of Child Enrichment, Inc., a nonprofit organization servicing victims of sexual abuse in our community, is offering a support group for parents and caregivers of children who have been sexually abused.
