I love the color Green. It is my color. It goes with everything. Add red and it is Christmas. Add yellow and it is the first sign of spring. Bring a little pink into the picture and here comes Easter. This season there is a lot of Navy blue and green in decorating and clothes. I like it. It looks a little preppy to me. Green and Black looks very serious. Green and White reminds me of Tennis. My son Lucas has the best Green eyes. It is a gender neutral color. The color of Money. Go Green means go organic, or recycle or a' natural. The color or nature, grass, leaves, and life.

The Month to Move
Ok, so everyone says that we are so lucky to have sold our house during this real estate downturn. We even did it for sale by owner. But the glitch is, our new house isn't ready....so here we are in a cozy two bedroom apartment for a few weeks (and not a few months I hope). They say it will be fun. What they don't know is...we have no microwave...no garage....no place to put the vacuum cleaner, but we do have a nice steady rhythm of music with a deep bass playing nightly through the wall from 10 pm - midnight.

Did she really wear that awful day-glow jump suit to pre-school? I kept her first Easter Dress, but neglected to iron it. Still a ball of wrinkles but so so cute! I remember buying it on sale at Macy's six months before Easter. What a deal. She wore it to church and then promptly fell

Ok - so my life doesn't seem that different from a lot of moms I know. We all juggle roles, wear hats, balance life, multi-task, what every metaphor you want to use, we all do it. In this day and age we move, move, move. Well when things get overwelming I just remember what my mom said to me a few years ago. She said "Gracie. Only do three things a day. Once three are done, you can tell yourself I've accomplished something." So here are the three things I did today (actually I did like 20 things, but who's counting?)
