Evan is learning how to drive. No, not behind the wheel of a real car. I'm giving him lessons on his Vtech Learn and Discover Driver. It's made for 6 months and up, but we're getting an early start at 4 months. He's a pro at handling the gear shift. He can accelerate and stop better than some licensed drivers I've seen on Augusta's roads. He hasn't quite figured out how to turn the steering wheel, but give him time. He knows how to honk the horn, which I think is the most important feature of any car.
The horn on my Honda Accord is almost worn out from all the crazy drivers I've encountered lately. Evan learned yesterday why it's not smart to cut across the parking spaces in a shopping center lot because this woman almost cut right in front of us at Target. Thankfully, the horn set her straight. Another recent encounter involved a woman trying to use the shoulder of the road to pass me on Riverwatch Parkway. She was also fond of weaving and speeding. I called the police, but I'm not sure they ever caught up to that maniac.
So if I honk my horn at you, don't get mad. I'm making an example out of you for my son. What you should really fear is the police siren on his Vtech because he knows how to use it!
