On the town

We took advantage of having one child at home last night and went on our first date night. Grandma and Grandpa came over and rocked Kennedy while we were gone.

Meg finally had the sushi and beer she has been craving since she found out she was pregnant. Nice peacefull dinner? Yeah right. A family of 4 sat next to us, everyone was frantic the kids were loud and wouldn’t sit still. The parents apologized, but we understood. The funniest part was when I heard the dad say under his breath “This is why we don’t go out to eat anymore.” I hope I can handle it as well as that guy when my time comes.

After dinner we went to see Juno. Quirky, funny a great date movie choice. At the end they showed Juno’s newborn baby, which sent us racing home to see our little one. It's funny how the whole night lead back to children.

At home Grandma and Grandpa looked frazzled. My Dad asked if she ever sleeps? My reply “Every once in a while between 6 and 9, welcome to my world.” Next time I think Grandpa will be staying home…
