Safe Kids Fast Fact - July 2012

Every year 5,000 children ages 14 and under are treated in emergency rooms for firework-related injuries. These injuries usually involve the hands and fingers, eyes or head and can sometimes result in amputation, blindness or even death.
To ensure your child’s safety, be sure to read labels carefully and follow vital safety guidelines. Don’t let dangerous sparks stand between your family and a wonderful Fourth of July celebration.
