Southern Cooking

The Morris Museum of Art continues its tradition of celebrating Southern foodways with an appearance by the Lee Brothers on Saturday, May 7, from 10:30 a.m.-3 p.m. Meet and greet the celebrity chefs at a lecture, cooking demonstration and tasting. From Frogmore Stew to Sweet Potato Buttermilk Pie, their first cookbook, which will be available for purchase, is a treasure trove of well-loved Southern recipes, narrated by witty anecdotes from the Lees, nationally renowned food writers from Charleston who learned to cook Southern without a Southern grandmother.
